Carla Molinari is an Architect and a Researcher. She is currently Tutor in Architecture and Honorary Associate of the University of Liverpool, conducting research on innovative interpretation of Sequences and Montage in Architecture. Carla has a PhD in Theory and Critic of Architecture (University Sapienza of Rome) and she has published on Cinema and Architecture, on the conception of Architectural Space and on Cultural Regeneration. In 2016 she has been awarded the prestigious British Academy Fellowship by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei and in 2014 she was the recipient of the first prize as Best Young Critic of Architecture (presS/Tletter, Venice).
Marco Spada is an Urban Planner and a Researcher. He is a Project Manager in a firm based in Milan and he previously worked in Italy (Rome and Siena), United Kingdom (Liverpool) and East Africa (Kenya Nyanza). He is specialized in Sustainability, Urban History and Industrial Real Estate. He achieved his PhD in Rome (2016) with a thesis on the reuse of Industrial Facilities, focusing on social and financial issues. Marco has been selected by UN-Habitat to participate to the Lake Victoria Water & Sanitation Initiative (2011) and he developed a mathematical urban model for the project O.R.R.Co. – Optimization and Research in Knowledge Networks (Panminds Lab, 2012).
